Thrissur Railway Passengers' Association, TRPA is the confluence of all the stake holders who are interested in the development of Railway facilities in and around Thrissur. Assn to gift season tickets to commuters

As part of its first anniversary celebrations, Edappally railway passengers' association (ERPA) will gift ordinary season tickets to 15 passengers.The ticket will be valid for a month.
“We are a group of regular season ticket passengers. The association was formed on November 5 last year. The idea of starting a gift coupon scheme came when we discussed about how to observe our anniversary .We will print 500 coupons of Rs 20 each and sell it among regular passengers. Two winners will be given office bags and 15 will be given season tickets for a month,“ said ERPA convener R D Manikandan.
The winners of the season tickets will have to submit his her journey details apart from season ticket ID number. “We will verify whether the winner is a regular commuter. An ordinary season ticket will cost around Rs 300 per month depending upon the travel distance. If a person wins the prize more than one, he will be given one season ticket and cash prize worth his season ticket for the remaining winning lots,“ Manikandan added.
The earnings from the gift coupon scheme will be used to purchase commuter amenities at Edappally railway station.
